What to Expect
This annual event brings NSBA members and small-business owners from across the country to Washington, D.C., to discuss policy, hear from issue experts, and advocate on behalf of NSBA’s Priority Issues.
If you requested NSBA to schedule your meetings on Capitol Hill, you will receive a complete meeting(s) schedule by COB of Day One. We are working to confirm your schedules as soon as possible prior to the event; however, it is typical Capitol Hill staffers will not confirm meetings until just a few days prior.
If you did NOT request meetings to be scheduled through NSBA on your behalf for WP'26, you are welcome to schedule your own meetings on Capitol Hill or across Washington that may be helpful to your business.
The attire for the entirety of WP'26 is business.
The temperature in D.C. in September usually ranges from the mid-70s to mid-80s. Please anticipate a great deal of walking, particularly between meetings on Capitol Hill – pack comfortable walking shoes and/or plan for a taxi or other rideshare service.
The tentative schedule and a more detailed look-ahead of what to expect is listed below. There may be minor tweaks – please stay tuned to our schedule here for any updates. We have also included below information on how to nominate yourself or fellow small-business owner for our Small Business Advocate of the Year Award which is given out during the WP.
Thank you again for registering for the NSBA Washington Presentation! We are looking forward to a very productive and exciting event.
