SBTC & NSBA Are Leading the Fight for SBIR/STTR Reauthorization and Permanency
SBIR/STTR are important programs providing critical funds supporting small business - the nation's most important economic community.
Fortunately, after months of advocacy from NSBA and SBTC members, the programs are currently reauthorized through Sept. 2031. However, there is a growing momentum around a new plan to reinstate SBIR/STTR with permanency, and we are urging Congress to and the Administration to further their commitments to the nation's most important economic community and codify this program in a long-term capacity.
Without a path to permanency, the greater the threat is to highly innovative small businesses, their employees, and every business in their pipeline.
