Chana Elgin

Chana Elgin is the communications director responsible for a number of strategic items, including NSBA's web portfolio, responsible for planning, crafting, and publishing the latest news and announcements on member-oriented initiatives.  She oversees various online resources to enhance member advocacy, while also supporting the government affairs team in developing policy briefs, grass-roots content, and much more.

Before NSBA, Chana worked as a consultant on a number of geopolitical and infrastructure development projects.  She earned dual BAs in political science and journalism from Texas Tech’s Schools of Politics and New Media in Lubbock, Texas, followed by a JD with dual concentrations in political communications and financial securities and regulations from The Catholic University in Washington, D.C.
