NEWS | NSBA Leader Wins SBA Woman Owned Small Business of the Year for Alaska During National Small Business Week

NSBA congratulates our Leadership Council member Christine Hopkins, owner of ASCI Services, based in Anchorage, Alaska, on her back-to-back win, as an SBA Business of the Year for Alaska, once again during National Small Business Week.

MAY 06, 2026 | This week, as our nation is celebrating National Small Business Week, NSBA is proud to continue serving as the longest-running small-business advocacy group in the country.

For more than 50 years, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has highlighted the impact of outstanding entrepreneurs, small-business owners, and other small-business supporters from across the nation through National Small Business Week. As part of its recognition this week, SBA is hosting a virtual conference, with a variety of resources and advice from Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs).

This week, SBA also gave out awards to outstanding small-business owners, advocates and champions. NSBA Leadership Council member Christine Hopkins, once again received a national honor, securing the SBA Woman-Owned Business of the Year award for Alaska.

Demonstrating exceptional resilience in the face of adversity, Ms. Hopkins, owner of ASCI Supply Chain and Logistics, based in Anchorage, won SBA's Small Business of the Year for Alaska in 2025.
